Recovery needs are diverse, which is why we pride ourselves on our dedication to providing our clients with a world-class team of experts. We provide and implement individual recovery treatment plans, which consist of the most advanced therapies and treatment available.
We believe in an integrated and holistic treatment model which blends the best of Western Medicine and Easter healing modalities. This mind, body, spirit approach proves to be effective in achieving and maintaining sobriety.
We understand that recovery is a lifelong journey which is why we have a strong alumni network.
Everyone’s journey is unique, which is why our multidisciplinary team will design your treatment plan based on your individual needs. We begin by learning more about your:
We use a combination of evidence-based and traditional clinical treatments. This integrated approach is a powerful way of personalizing recovery. We turn to Mindfulness-based modalities to increase self-awareness, self-compassion, and to create healthy new pathways in the brain. Our mind, body, spirit approach contains any combination of:
With structured PHP addiction treatment, you or your loved one will begin with 5 days a week—with 6 or more hours of treatment per day. This includes individual therapy, group therapy, and daily programming.
We encourage clients who are ready to reintegrate within the local sober community, by attending outside 12-Step meetings. We also provide opportunities for outside excursions, recreation, and experiential therapy. This integration with everyday activities helps to build confidence during the initial stages of recovery, and helps prepare clients for discharge.
PHP is an ideal step-down support when transitioning from inpatient care to independent living. It is also ideal for anyone whose mental, behavioral, or substance recovery does not require inpatient or residential treatment.
Our Treatment Intensives may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
In order to qualify for and benefit from PHP, clients must be stable and open enough to engage in their structured therapy and treatment. They must be capable of performing all activities of daily living independently. While it is not required to reside at the Indigo Ranch Retreat during rehabilitation, off-site clients may have to arrange transportation. Each Beach House Treat treatment program is unique, so admission to PHP’s in other locations may require inpatient or in-house residency.
Prior to admission we conduct a thorough psychosocial assessment, or an in-depth review of the inpatient program our client is being transferred from. This assessment is essential for personalizing recovery plans, and addressing individual needs, strengths, and goals.
While independent self-care is a prerequisite for our PHP, we provide the treatment, therapy, and care required to support recovery. This may include any combination of:
If prescription psychotropic medications are part of a client’s addiction recovery plan, or are required for behavioral health disorders or mental health disorders—we can provide the required medication management. Medicine will be dispensed by a psychiatrist and/or designated member of the nursing staff.
Group therapy is the foundation of almost every PHP. Treatment is split up into multiple group session each day, both to address different therapeutic needs—and to provide ample breaks throughout the day. Each session is led by a counselor, therapist, or relevant professional. Group therapy is a wonderfully supportive environment where clients have a structured and safe place to share with individuals with similar obstacles and goals. It is also an excellent place for our clients to work on the interpersonal and communication skills required for recovery.
Working directly with a designated therapist or counselor provides clients the time required to discuss their personal recovery challenges and progress in greater detail. It also provides the opportunity to discuss the private challenges and concerns that they may not feel comfortable sharing in a group session. Direct feedback will be provided, with the goal of accelerating and supporting the recovery process. Each PHP program is unique, so individual therapy may be required, while others schedule one-on-one interactions on an as-needed basis.
The impact of your addiction, mental illness, or behavior health disorder doesn’t just affect you—but also your closest friends and immediate family. Loved ones often play an important role in the recovery process, but may not know how to help. Family sessions also provide the opportunity to begin the process of healing wounds caused by the ripple effect of addiction and disorders. Some friends and family will be more open and forgiving than others, but these sessions are an excellent starting point.
The goal of our PHP program is forward-thinking. Clients will work directly with our staff to design a continuing care plan. While the structure of PHP will cease at discharge, the commitment to recovery is lifelong. This discharge plan includes a list of local resources and addiction professionals who can assist with ongoing recovery. We understand that recovery is an ongoing journey which is why we have a strong alumni network.
